Remembrance Day Ceremonies
The nature of a Remembrance Day will vary from one school to the next. Some teachers may prefer a short classroom activity while others might choose to hold a more elaborate assembly involving the entire school in a gymnasium or auditorium. Whatever the format, active participation by students is essential and teachers should encourage students not only to organize the ceremony, but also to create their own materials.
