Rosoman, Leonard,OBE RA (b1913)

Leonard Rosoman, Credit : Imperial War Museum

Rosoman signed up with the AFS before the outbreak of war, and was mobilised as soon as war was declared. In 1944 the WAAC. offered him a commission as an artist attached to the British Pacific Fleet, sailing for Sydney and Japanese waters before visiting Hong Kong. After the war he taught at the Royal College of Art.
