Military Police
Members of the Canadian Mounted Military Police from Canadian Corps headquarters. Dark armbands, or brassards, barely visible on their right arms, carry the initials "MP" for Military Police. They had many roles behind the lines, from herding enemy prisoners to rear areas to enforcing military regulations against Canadian troops.
