Vindicated Veterans
French veterans of the 1870-1871 Franco-Prussian War join Canadian soldiers in the liberated city of Denain, France, at the end of the war. These French veterans, who had lived with their country's defeat for almost fifty years, march past the French and Canadian generals, including Canadian Corps commander Sir Arthur Currie and the Prince of Wales.
