Film Screening: War Memories Across Canada

Plan Your Visit

SOLD OUT

Join us for an exploration of locations in Canada that played an important role in the First and Second World Wars. Funded by Canadian Heritage, Parks Canada and Royal Roads University, the stories in War Memories Across Canada offer insight into our nation’s past by looking at the wars not from the perspective of overseas battlefields but from sites in our own country.

“Guardians of remembrance,” historians, guides and storytellers recount what happened at these locations and why. War Memories Across Canada provides new insight into Canada’s military heritage as well as an opportunity to commemorate Canada’s role in the First and Second World Wars.

Director/Producer Dr Geoffrey Bird of Royal Roads University in Victoria, BC will be on hand to offer a brief introduction to the film and to respond to questions afterwards.
