Please note the following street closures around the Canadian War Museum during Ottawa Race Weekend on Sunday, May 27, 2012. The Museum parking will not be accessible before 11:30 a.m.
The Ottawa River Parkway/Wellington Street between Booth Street and Island Park Drive will be closed for the Ottawa Race Weekend Marathon on Sunday, May 27, from 7:30 until 11:30 a.m.. Booth Street will also be closed from Wellington to Chaudière Bridge (Quebec side) for approximately the same time frame. Portage Bridge will remain open at all times.
The War Museum parking will not be accessible to cars and buses from 7:30 until 11:30 a.m. as the runners pass. Cars will be able to park at the Wellington Street meters east of the Booth Street intersection in both directions. Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to access the Museum without any significant delays during this period, as directed by Ottawa Police.
Please allow for extra time to get to the Museum as delays may be caused by the street closures. The Museum will remain open for its regular hours of operations.
