The Navy: A Century in Art

To mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Canadian Navy in 2010, this exhibition features paintings from its unparalleled Beaverbrook Collection of War Art. From dramatic depictions of the Battle of the Atlantic to intimate portraits of life at sea, some of Canada’s best artists have captured the Canadian naval experience in times of war and peace.

Content : 45 works from Canadian artists including Arthur Lismer, Alex Colville, Harold Beament, Anthony Law, Ted Zuber et Pegi Nicol MacLeod and many others.
