Ottawa, Ontario, April 4, 2013 — Join us as the Canadian War Museum celebrates the LeBreton Gallery’s makeover with a series of fun family activities and free admission for children*.

On April 14, visit the LeBreton Gallery to build a tank with Mega Bloks®, find out how submarines work, learn how to send messages with a flashlight, and more. You can also have a sneak peek inside the Canadian War Museum’s machine shop, where military vehicles are restored. Our team of Volunteer Interpreters will be happy to share their knowledge of military technology with you.

The LeBreton Gallery, the largest exhibition space inside the Canadian War Museum, has been redesigned to showcase Canada’s most comprehensive collection of military technology. The Gallery features more than 150 artifacts dating from the 18th century to the present day. The Lebreton Gallery shows how human ingenuity drives the science of war, and how humans have used the artifacts in time of peace and conflict.

*Children under 18 will receive free admission all day when accompanied by an adult (one child admitted free with the purchase of an adult or senior admission).
