New York State Militia Coat
Lieutenant-Colonel William Prendergast wore this coat during his wartime service in the New York State Militia. The coat has undergone conservation on one side. Elements of the New York State Militia participated in invasions of Canada and the defence of their state throughout the War of 1812.
