- Inscription TO OPEN TEAR HERE; TO OPEN TEAR HERE R.CA.M.C Dressing, First Field, Mark III Take hold of the two tabs at either corner as indicated by the arrow; tear apart; extract dressing, and remove the paper corner along the brown surface. Take the folded ends of the brown bandage in each hand, and keep the bandage taut, apply the gauze pad to the wound, and fix the bandage by tying the ends. In case of head wound, when respirators have to be worn, care should be taken to adjust the pad so that it does not interfere with the fit of the face piece.
