- Additional Information A student-cadet at Trinity College in Port Hope, Ontario, wore this uniform. At this school, participation in the cadets was compulsory for all boys over 13 years of age. Students had to pay $3.50 for the uniform, which was made from fabric initially purchased for the South African War. At the time, labourers in nearby Toronto earned 25 cents an hour.
