- Additional Information This .303 bullet was extracted from Corporal William Hughes of the Canadian Expeditionary Force. Hughes served most of the war at the front until he was shot in the abdomen in August 1918. Hospitalized for more than a year, first in the United Kingdom and then in Canada, he survived the war and died in 1955.
