Canadian artist

Goldhamer, Charles (1903-1985)

Goldhamer enlisted in the RCAF in 1943 as a supervisor of art programs for air force personnel. As an official war artist from 1944 to 1946, he portrayed severely burnt airmen convalescing at an advanced plastic surgery unit in England. After the war he continued his career as a teacher and painter.
