Join the Centralaires as they celebrate Victory in Europe in May 1945. The band will present music reflecting the service of Canadians at sea, on land, in the air and on the homefront.
The Centralaires Concert Band was formed in the early 1990s by former members of the RCAF Central Band and the Central Band of the Canadian Forces. The ensemble currently includes retired members of the two bands, former members of the RCMP Band and the Band of the Governor General’s Foot Guards, local music teachers, and other talented musicians. Public concerts are held throughout the year in locations across the region, offering a variety of classical, pops, and military music.
