Peter Stursberg Foreign Correspondents Lecture

Plan Your Visit

This lecture series honours the legacy of Peter Stursberg (1913‒2014), who was Canada’s last living war correspondent from the Second World War.

Delivered in collaboration with Carleton University’s School of Journalism and Communication, the lecture series recognizes the importance and impact of journalism that bears witness in troubled areas around the world. Each year, the lecture is delivered by a correspondent with sustained experience reporting from conflict zones.

This year, the Peter Stursberg Foreign Correspondents Lecture will be delivered by CBC’s Adrienne Arsenault, award-winning senior correspondent and a host of The National. Kristy Kirkup (BJ ’09), a parliamentary reporter with The Globe and Mail, will moderate the evening.

The lecture will be presented in English only.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
