Whether you’re leading a school ceremony, a virtual lesson, or something in between, the Remembrance Day online learning module brings together everything you need to deliver an engaging, informative and inclusive experience. This new digital resource features a variety of time periods and perspectives, allowing you to go beyond traditional stories to teach lessons that make Remembrance Day relevant to students today.

Join Canadian War Museum experts Jessica Shaw, Learning Specialist, and Britt Braaten, Creative Development Specialist, as they demonstrate some of the many features of the Remembrance Day module — including short videos, curated objects from the Museum collection, historical overviews of various conflicts, multiple perspectives, and classroom activities. This session also takes a look at the research behind this new resource — including a focus on the inclusion of diverse stories — and ends with a Q&A period.

You will leave this session with a toolkit of valuable resources that you can use in the lead-up to Remembrance Day, and beyond.
