June 2013 at the Canadian War Museum

June 4, 2013

Human Library
June 9
10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Barney Danson Theatre

What do a peace activist, a war correspondent, a medic, a sociology professor and a member of the Canadian Forces have in common? They all have stories about peace that they want to share as part of the Human Library!
Browse through these and other “human books” and check one out for a 20-minute conversation. Learn about the role of peace in the lives of “ordinary” Canadians, and ask your questions. The Human Library is an opportunity to speak with someone you might otherwise never meet, opening your eyes to their experiences.
