On the back of the painting Bobak has noted: "The first CWAC wedding to be held in Apeldoorn. The feast was provided by Dutch Cooks who used Army Rations." In this luscious composition, Bobak has shown her appreciation for the kitchen creativity in a composition that focuses on the almost theatrical presentation of the meal.
