Triangular Bandage
Triangular Bandage

This bandage was part of the medical supplies of Arnold Rudolph Westerbert, who served in the aircraft carriers HMCS Warrior and HMCS Magnificent.

Westerbert joined the Royal Canadian Navy during the Second World War, and served as a sick berth attendant at a number of naval bases. He subsequently served in Warrior and Magnificent and received his officer's commission in 1955. Triangular bandages like these are among the most useful and versatile of medical tools, and have been and continue to be used by all branches of the military.
