CANADIAN WOMEN IN RADAR
Over 17,400 women joined the RCAF (Women's Division) during the Second World War and served in a variety of roles both in Canada and overseas. Some played a vital role on the Allied radar team, often serving as skilled radar operators and analysts in the defence of Canada's coasts.
