The Museum’s collection of medals continues to grow each year with the help of members of the public, who generously donate medals awarded to cherished family members for service in times of war, conflict and peace, from the seventeenth century to modern times. This site provides information about the medals and tells the stories of the people who earned them.

The site currently focuses on the service and sacrifice of Canadians during the First World War. We will eventually expand the content to cover other wars and conflicts where Canadians played a role. New content is being developed and added all the time.
