TARGET FINDERS Coastal Command used radar during the Battle of the Atlantic, and radar was used by Bomber Command in the great air battles over Europe. In this image, Dumbo, a Liberator aircraft, successfully attacks a surfaced submarine, or U-boat, which has been located by radar.
