THE MEDITERRANEAN 1941-1945
Over 400 Canadian radar specialists served in 147 British stations around the Mediterranean. These stations provided early warning of enemy attack for the British Commonwealth and American forces, as well as directing Allied air defence efforts. Another 358 RCAF personnel served in 66 British air squadrons, and a further 276 served in command or support units.
