CANADIANS IN SOUTHEAST ASIA Over 720 Canadian radar specialists served throughout Southeast Asia during the Second World War: 285 in radar stations; 333 in fighter, bomber or transport squadrons; and 105 in command or support units. Twelve of these Canadians became Japanese prisoners-of-war.
