Experience the Canadian War Museum in July!

Ottawa, Ontario, June 23, 2011—Make the Canadian War Museum one of your top destinations in July! We offer free admission and special activities on Canada Day, programming related to War and Medicine, motor vehicle demonstrations and Mega Bloks!

Text Box: The Canadian War Museum is pleased to welcome the Royal Couple on July 2,   and to be part of the 2011 Royal Tour.    The Canadian War Museum will be open from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 2nd.   Normal admission rates apply.

 

CANADA DAY (JULY 1) PROGRAMMING

The Canadian War Museum houses one of the most important collections of military vehicles in Canada. Take advantage of free admission to the Museum on Canada Day to discover some of the amazing vehicles we have in storage.

Canada Day Tank Tattoos
11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Show your Canadian pride with a non-permanent tattoo created by artists from EXOTIKA TATTOOS. Choose from a selection of tattoos and then show it off to your friends and family. This is a great activity for everyone!

Military Marches and Highland Tunes
11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Listen for the sounds of our wandering piper, William Gilmour, retired Piper Major of the Second Battalion of the Black Watch, as he plays a selection of military marches and highland tunes to entertain the crowds on Canada Day.

 

Battlefield Medicine
