Learn the history behind a conflict that helped shape Canada. Explore the perspectives of the war’s four central participants: Canada, the United States, Great Britain, and Native Americans.
The Canadian War Museum will mark the bicentennial of the War of 1812, a momentous event in Canadian history, with one of the largest and most innovative exhibitions it has ever produced. 1812 will weave together multiple perspectives on the conflict to produce a dramatic new account of the war.
This exhibition will be open from June 13, 2012 to January 6, 2013.
