Education

Lest We Forget

Ontario Teachers: Grades 8 to 12
Quebec Teachers: Secondary 1 to 5

The Lest We Forget program gives students an opportunity to consider history from the perspective of individuals and communities, while working with primary source materials. Students are tasked with researching and writing about individuals who served during the First World War. They become experts on the service persons they investigate, then visit the permanent galleries to connect those persons to the broader Canadian wartime experience.

This program is offered in collaboration with Library and Archives Canada.

Note: There have been changes to the way the Lest We Forget school program is offered at the Canadian War Museum. Please inquire when booking your program.
