Collector Displays — From Combat to CADPAT

Explore two Canadian collections of militaria!

Join local collectors Dan Ferland and Ed Storey as they showcase their extensive collections of authentic clothing and equipment reflecting Canadian Army and United Nations missions of the Cold War era, from combat to CADPAT (Canada’s first digital camouflage pattern).

Learn about the items issued to soldiers, including how the OG-107 green combat uniform of the 1960s transitioned into a camouflaged CADPAT uniform to meet the needs of the 21st century, and examine United Nations (UN) objects from a period when Canada’s highly trained UN “Blue Berets” were seen as a stabilizing factor in many of the world’s conflict zones. Both collectors will share their expertise on these 60-year-old objects.
