Through images and text panels, this 2D show gives visitors an overview of the Canadian experience during the Second World War, a conflict that transformed the country. Canada was initially unprepared for war in 1939. Ultimately, more than 1 million Canadian men and women served on the homefront and fought on land, at sea, and in the air — making a vital contribution to the Allied victory.
