Explore Canada’s involvement in Operation Medusa by engaging with staff who will share objects, documents and photographs that examine the experiences of Canadian service members in Afghanistan.

This presentation cart highlights Operation Medusa as a part of Canada’s military history — one of the largest and most intense combat operations undertaken by the Canadian Armed Forces since the Korean War. Visitors will learn about what soldiers experienced during the Afghanistan war, including the challenges they faced, the realities of combat, and the human impact of serving in Kandahar.
