The North Lakeshore Chorus is back for a special Sunday concert, as the Canadian War Museum continues to mark the 80th anniversary of the end of the Second World War.

Founded in 2012, the North Lakeshore Chorus often performs in honour of royal events and military anniversaries — including a 2018 concert at the War Museum, marking the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. The Chorus has also been touring since 2014, presenting commemorative concerts in Canada, France, Belgium, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Italy.

In the summer of 2025, the Chorus will embark on its 10-day Liberation Anniversary Tour of the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and France, performing at venues from Apeldoorn to Dunkirk.

Presented in association with the new War Museum exhibition Last Voices of the Second World War, this one-hour choral performance features wartime favourites and songs of remembrance.
