Location and Directions
The Canadian War Museum is located at 1 Vimy Place, on LeBreton Flats, at the corner of Booth Street and the Sir John A. MacDonald Parkway, west of Parliament Hill. The Museum is easily accessible from downtown Ottawa by foot, bicycle, public transit or car and offers on-site parking.

Several roads around the Canadian War Museum will be closed on the morning of September 23 for the Canada Army Run. The Museum will remain open.

NCC Sunday Bike Days
Every Sunday in the summer, the Sir John A MacDonald Parkway is closed to motor vehicles from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you are travelling by car to the Canadian War Museum, please proceed North on Booth Street and make a U-Turn to access Vimy Place from southbound Booth Street.
Make the Canadian War Museum part of your Sunday Bike Days! Cyclists are always welcome; bike racks are available.
