Curating Canada’s First World War Story

Step into the role of a museum curator and explore the stories behind objects tied to the Canadian experience of the First World War. In this hands-on program, students will investigate key themes such as identity, sacrifice, remembrance and resilience through objects and primary sources.

In small groups, students will also design a mini exhibition reflecting Canada’s diverse contributions during the war. This activity fosters not only historical thinking, but also creativity, and a deeper appreciation of the legacy of war.

Quebec – Secondary 2 and 4 to 5

Time: Monday to Friday, 10 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
