The Museum offers meaningful learning experiences designed to support teachers in providing exceptional history education. Our programs ensure that your students come away with a greater understanding of the human stories behind historical events.
Our programs closely match Ontario and Quebec curricula in the areas of Social Studies, History and Geography.
Booking your visit
Step 1 : Choose
Choose your activity and a preferred date and time as well as alternate selections, should your first choice not be available.
Step 2 : Contact
Contact our Call Centre Agents a minimum of three weeks ahead of time to organize your visit. Program space is often limited, so we encourage you to contact us as early as possible.

PLEASE HAVE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION READY WHEN YOU CALL:
- Number of participants, grade level(s), language preference (English or French)
- Preferred and alternate activities, dates and times
- Name, complete mailing address, telephone, email and fax number of group leader
- Credit card number and expiry date
Step 3 : Confirm
A reservation confirmation will be sent to you. To confirm your booking, you must sign and return the confirmation within five days by fax to 819-776-8279.
Group Admission and School Program Fees
Payment
Payment may be made in cash, by credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Amex), by traveller’s cheque or by cheque made payable to the Canadian Museum of History (please indicate the reservation number on the cheque).
Cancellations
There is no charge for schools that cancel due to inclement weather. Under all other circumstances, our Call Centre must be notified in writing two weeks before any change or cancellation of reservation. If changes or cancellations are not communicated at least two weeks before your program date, the program’s total cost will be charged to the credit card number provided when the booking was made.
