Introduction to the Canadian War Museum
PRESENTATION – WITNESS TO HISTORY: PERSONAL ACCOUNTS OF MILITARY SERVICE
This unique program enables students to interact with a veteran or a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, who will share compelling personal stories. Requests for this program must be made at least three weeks in advance. Volunteers representing the following conflicts and service areas may be available: Korean War, Afghanistan, domestic operations and service with NATO, NORAD or the United Nations. Please specify your top three preferences from this list in order of preference when you book your program. Final selection will be based on volunteer availability.

Early Wars in Canada
WORKSHOP – THE BATTLE OF THE PLAINS OF ABRAHAM: LASTING LEGACIES
The lives and roles of various individuals during the Battle of the Plains of Abraham come to life with a hands-on investigation of primary and secondary historical sources. Using first-hand accounts of the Seven Years’ War and replica artifacts, students will consider how we know about the past and will explore the conflict that defined daily life for the people of this period.
