Ottawa, Ontario, December 4, 2008 — The Canadian War Museum and its parking garage remain open and accessible during the repair work on the nearby Chaudière Bridge.

A set of traffic lights accessible to vehicles travelling east and west on the Ottawa River Parkway at the western end of LeBreton Flats Park (the large green space in front of the Museum) allows access to Vimy Place, the Museum and its parking garage.

Visitors making their way to the War Museum from the east, centre and downtown areas of the City of Ottawa, or from the City of Gatineau, are advised to access the Ottawa River Parkway from the Wellington Street/Portage Bridge intersection. The eastbound Ottawa River Parkway can be accessed at Parkdale, Island Park or other accesses further west.
