Each session offers an engaging presentation, followed by an audience Q&A and relaxed social time over coffee and conversation. It’s an inviting way to explore new ideas, ask questions, and connect more deeply with the Museum in an informal setting.

What does it take to preserve Canada’s military heritage and bring it to life for visitors?
Join the experts behind the scenes at the Canadian War Museum and discover the fascinating work that goes into caring for and presenting the Museum’s collections. Meet the specialists from Conservation and Exhibition Display Preparation as they share how they conserve artifacts and war art, prepare objects for exhibition, and restore historic vehicles.
From scientific analysis and hands-on conservation to custom mount-making and exhibition installation, learn how their work helps protect these remarkable objects while making them accessible for research, education and public display. Gain a new appreciation for the skill, creativity and dedication required to preserve Canada’s military history for future generations.
